The kit consists of a cedar box, small natural test stone 2 by 1 5/8
by ¼ inch thick; five plastic squeeze bottles of acid: Silver, 10K,
14K 18K, 22K; a strong 27 pound magnet; a sheet of 400 sand
paper for breaking in the stone and removing accumulated streaks;
and very detailed instructions on how to become an expert assayer
using the kit to test for all karats of gold, silver, platinum, and
palladium.
Note: The 22K acid is OK for testing platinum, but we also have
stronger platinum acid, not included in the kit for $2.50 additional.

As everyone knows most of the scales made in China are usually
junk. Here is a Chinese scale that is an exception. The parent
company is the Japanese corporation Tanita. The scales are made
with the same Tanita quality control as those in Japan, but are much
cheaper due to the difference in labor costs. A Japanese Tanita
equal to this 120 gram Tangent scale with four functions
(gr oz toz dwt), is about $80 wholesale. We sell this scale for only
$35.
24 POWER FOLDING LOUPES

case is 2” long and 1.25 inches wide, just a little larger than a
standard jewelers triplet loupe. Each lens is 12 power and when
both are opened, 24 power. Viewing with one lens, and an

completely view a US 25c coin. This is some kind of miracle
